![]() The original GV has an awesome background story, it's pretty interesting, but the game is unable to present the story in a way that makes it feel complete and interesting. The story of this game is not stellar, but compared to the way they delivered GV's story, I care way more about the characters in this game than the previous one. That man wasn't able to create and direct a single game ever since he left Capcom, frankly I'm pretty sure they never allowed him to do everything he wanted because if they did probably Megaman X would be trash. Then after I watched the credits I understood why this game feels better, Inafune is not the director this time, that's why. This one does almost everything that GV did but it didn't ruin my gameplay, it was hard enough but not obnoxiously hard for no reason, it didn't punish me because I didn't want to grind for hours just to get to a certain level to finish the final boss, having skills here really mean something and the best part to me is not having to replay the game again just to unlock a different ending because I missed all of the gems there xD ![]() I like when a game is hard and have a good challenge, but as someone who can play the Entire Megaman Zero series with an S score without problems and without the cheats the Collection edition has, GV felt cheap in a lot of deaths I had, I ended the game more frustrated than anything else. But really, the previous GV gave me serious flashbacks to the Final Stages from Mighty N, 9 and that's not good at all. The only thing salvageable of that game were the challenges but frankly that's just a way to force you to play the same stage at least three times if you're good at the game, more if you' have more things to do. ![]() Look, the original Gun Volt is not bad, but I dunno if it's the PC version that's the problem or what but that game just feels way too much the almagamation of Megaman Zero with Mighty No 9, but you grab the worst of both of them and put together.
